     • Chris and his delightful wife worked for me during the Census and still do some work for Write on Topic when I can scare up assignments for them. Bev is a retired technical writer whom I have never met F2F but have known for golly, Bev, how long is it? Twenty years? We met on a technical writers’ listserv that spun off an off-topic list.

       Go get a canape and a drink and talk amongst yourselves. 😉

     • Actually, I’ve never been a technical writer by title, but I’ve had plenty of tech writer-type assignments. I was a programmer and IT specialist. But now I’m none of those! Retired four years. Hoo-Ah!
