For what it’s worth, the spam did manage to get through Comcast’s relatively robust filters and end up in my mailbox, but the visible part of the message was enough to be recognizable as the tired old “mail forwarding scam.”
If a company feels it necessary to take steps like this to make sure its spam is seen, that’s a huge red flag. Don’t walk, run the other way and have nothing to do with these criminals.
